Yes, please let me know whether the camera still triggers properly with the changes. I expect it will work just fine. |

Requirements
Description
Nikon IR requires pulses on the photo pin in a 48.4khz frequency at stated on and off intervals which are different to the currently supported way the pin works, which is for Canon cameras. The details of the protocol can be found here

To support this an additional option has been added in the configurations to enable support for Nikon, this will then generate the correct pulses on the configured photo pin. When a IR LED is connected to the pin in the way stated in this diagram

When the camera is in remote trigger mode, it will receive the command from the IR LED on the photo pin, and then triggering the photo to be taken.
If the Nikon support is not enabled, the existing camera code works in the same way as it did before.

Adds Nikon IR remote trigger support with the addition of an IR attached to the photo pin.
Related Issues
Depending on the board been used, and the response times for the pin going high and low, different pulse lengths, and delays to create the 48.4khz frequency might be needed. This has so far been tested with a MKS SBase running version 2 with this code included.
