Thanks for fixing this! I can confirm it fixes the block error when switching out of mobile view with custom fields enabled.
One other thing I noticed when custom fields are enabled is a bunch of console warnings about the style tags being incorrectly attached:
was added to the iframe incorrectly. Please use block.json or enqueue_block_assets to add styles to the iframe.
I see it in trunk as well as this PR, so unrelated to this fix.

Thanks for testing, @tellthemachines. Yes, that's a different issue that also causes previews to render incorrectly - #52155. I know why it's happening, but I am still looking for a solution. I'll post my finding in the issue. |

How?
Update return early condition in effects and check if browser context isn't
null. Originally, I planned to use optional chaining ingetComputedStyle, but I think it makes more sense to skip style updates.Testing Instructions
