R5900 QEMU can be used to emulate programs compiled for PlayStation 2 Linux.
This PlayStation 2 Linux kernel is work in progress, and so far only some devices have been implemented for the latest kernel.
PlayStation 2 Linux runs R5900 programs and generic MIPS I, MIPS II and MIPS III programs, under certain restrictions specified by the R5900 processor specific ABI (psABI).
