##What's been happening A working REST API now exists for the tech organizations in Greenville, and a few in Spartanburg.

Documentation on Doing Human and Robot Calls to the API

Background Information on How to Interact with REST APIs

Jim and Landon talked on the phone. We discussed building smaller functional tool with the current data to get people familiar with the type of data and expose them to the possibilities.

The primary thought was to look into incremental tags or data we could add to the organization data that could enable tools like IFTTT to do useful things. For instance, post to a Twitter account, or email people when new tech groups are added.

We recognize the current dataset of just organizations is probably not solving enough of a pain for most people to utilize it more than once. For example, it solves a problem for people who are new to town, but they would be unlikely to leverage the data on a website, but rather for personal reference.

Jim contacted one of the CoWork guys about possibilities for parts of lifeingreenville.com, which, while curated, is also out of date in parts.
