Meeting Notes 2016.01.19

After the Troller Tracker group talked we discussed progress on the open data spreadsheet.

We've also started a #meetuporganizers channel on the HackGreenville Slack.

Overlapping events, of which there were 4 this very evening, is one potential issue for sustaining attendance at events. We decided to expand the tech meetup API data to include data about the normal day of the month, like 2nd Tuesday, 3rd Wednesday, and build a view of that for meetup organizers (and attendees if they find it useful).

Dan Dietz is starting a Greenville Python Meetup and not 3 minutes after we ended the meeting and talked about creating a meetup "normal days" calendar, Jim ran into Dan at OpenWorks and he asked about schedule the meetup and wondered which days were open.
