##What's Been Happening

• Landon and Jim had a phone call discussing how to build basic tools on top of the organization data before jumping into the events.
• Drupal 8 install is setup - Jim

##What Happened

• Jim and Landon discussed adding data validation of the organization info as a next step and a simple product that leverages the API to remind people to update organization data.
• John Johnson (@randomjohn) joined the team
• We added an RSS feed of organization data - https://data.openupstate.org/organizations/all/feed
• We plan to research how we and others can use tools like IFTTT, Zapier, and MailChimp RSS to Email to pull data to essentially "Click for Greenville".
• We created, tweaked, and tested a MailChimp RSS to Email campaign to notify people via email when a new tech organization is added. This needs to be recreated on a Code for Greenville MailChimp account.
• Added Landon and John with access to Drupal

##Ideas for simple uses of what we have

• IFTTT to validate website URLs and email us when something changes/breaks
• Email organizers each quarter to verify they are still the proper contact
• Auto post new organizations to Twitter and Slack accounts
