NOTE: Applications are now closed. We are no longer accepting applications for the FLIP Fluids Beta program. The FLIP Fluids addon will be available to the public on release (May 1st, 2018).

Only a limited number of testing slots are available. To become a participant of the FLIP Fluids beta, you will need to receive an invite.

Tester Requirements

  • A system running a Windows operating system
  • An installation of Blender 2.79 (64-bit) or later
  • A GitHub account
  • (optional) experience using the Blender internal fluid simulator (Elbeem) or the Blender Mantaflow Branch

How to Apply

Send an email to flip.fluids.beta[at]gmail.com with the subject title FLIP Fluids Beta Application and include the following information:

GitHub Username:

Please include a model number/name for your CPU and include the clock speed if possible. Simply stating i7 or AMD does not provide enough information about your system.

Feel free to include any comments, concerns, questions, or just tell us about yourself!

How will I know if I have been invited?

The third wave of beta invites will be sent through email on April 3rd by 1:00pm (-8 GMT). If you do not receive an invite for the third wave, you may still be added to the beta at a later date.

Your beta invitation will include a password protected Dropbox folder that will be used to keep you updated with addon builds and other testing material. A Dropbox account is not required to access the folder. You will also receive a link to download the FLIP Fluids Test Suite addon.
