This plugin currently uses a git.io link that will almost certainly vanish someday. GitHub has not committed to any particular timeline of support (or the end thereof) for existing git.io links, since announcing that new links can no longer be created.

Another update says redirections will not stop on Friday after all. They'll create a new long-term redirect-only version of the service. Gives me a moment to think about a prefix for this kind of redirect on our side, since I'm sure we'll eventually want to have more shortcuts like this.

Modification of Exirel's suggestion to use `/l` as a prefix.

We might still do something like that, but all we need right now is a
way to send people to a specific issue.
