The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) provides a platform for OA output from 736 social science research and teaching institutional members from 51 countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, and other continents (see English-language PDF about goals, reach, ...).

Next to a variety of other content, access to ~1,400 OA books is provided by CLACSO's repository http://www.biblioteca.clacso.edu.ar/

The repository provides Dublin Core metadata and has a OAI-MPH interface that is reachable at: http://biblioteca.clacso.edu.ar/gsdl/cgi-bin/oaiserver.cgi?verb=Identify
