SVG icons

When using any Elementor widgets with icons, you have the option to upload an SVG icon.

Problem

Siteimprove flags pages where icon links do not have a text alternative.

Solution

Add aria-labels to the links in the icon box interface in Elementor. You have to expand the link options by clicking the gear.
