Test Session

Bill Majurski edited this page Nov 18, 2016 · 2 revisions

A Test Session is an identity of a user or job being performed. If an installation of Toolkit is shared by multiple users the Test Session name could identify the user. If you are testing multiple implementations of IHE Actors then the Test Session could identify each of your implementations. The key point is that the content in a Test Session is kept separate. Use them how you will.

How is a Test Session named

A Test Session name is a simple string. It will be used to create a directory on machine hosting Toolkit so the name has to be a legal directory name.

What information is kept in a Test Session

A Test Session supports two facets of Toolkit Operation: private Test Kits and the operation of the Conformance Test Tool. The details are documented on the pages identified.
