This PR reverts master to 2020659

2020659 is ahead of the 1.5.7 tag, but this diff shows that the only changes are to the release documentation - 1.5.7...2020659

Since those changes don't affect the code, I thought it would be good to preserve them rather than have to redo them.

This diff proves that there is no difference between 2020659 and the PR branch - 2020659...revert-to-last-release - "Files changed 0"

Rolling back to commit 2020659 sounds good to me.
