This page describes the list of devices and protocols SolarNode is known to have support for.

Multi-purpose data collection

  • Advantech ADAM 411x — collect data from any analogue or digital sensor supported by the ADAM 4117/4118 input module
  • BACnet — collect data from BACnet/IP devices
  • CAN Bus — collect data from CAN Bus devices (such as vehicles)
  • DNP3 Server (Outstation) — publish data collected by other plugins and controls as a DNP3 Outstation, for DNP3 clients to connect to and control
  • GPIO — read and write digital general-purpose I/O lines
  • Modbus — collect data from any Modbus compatible device, over RS-485 (RTU) or TCP/IP
  • Modbus Server — publish data collected by other plugins and controls as a Modbus TCP Server, for Modbus clients to connect to and control
  • M-Bus — collect data from any M-Bus compatible device, both wired or wireless (via M-Bus wireless transceiver)
  • Numato USB GPIO — read and write analog and digital general-purpose I/O lines
  • Loxone Miniserver — collect data from devices connected to a Loxone miniserver
  • OS statistics — collect operating statistics like CPU/RAM/disk utilization
