Update and Upgrade

INSTALLATION > UPDATE AND UPGRADE

Upgrade

1. Head over to https://github.com/elkarte/Elkarte/
2. On the right end of the toolbar, you will see a button called "Clone or Download", click it and you will be presented with "Download ZIP" option.
3. Download the package, and extract it.
4. Upload the package and do the following:

• Upload all the php files in the "root" (e.g. index.php, email_imap_cron.php, emailpost.php, emailtopic.php, subscriptions.php)
• Upload the directories /sources/ and /themes/

5. Once done, go to your forumurl.com/install/upgrade.php
6. The upgrade setup page will be opened, complete the steps by clicking Continue.
