1. Work package 1 – OpenCDMS Data Model

Strategic activity involving the broadest possible community to create a next generation reference data model.

2. Work package 2 – OpenCDMS Data API v1

Deliver a production-ready implementation of the OpenCDMS Data API that can be installed in every participating country alongside their chosen CDMS implementation.

This activity is currently being funded through ACP Project work package 2.4

3. Work package 3 – Products and services

R-modules like R-Instat and Climatol. Activities may be aligned with the Climate Services Toolkit.

4. Work package 4 – User Interface

This work packages encompasses two options. A traditional web application that extends existing available server-side solutions with minimal additional funding and/or a modern client-side Progressive Web Application (PWA) that provides desktop and mobile solutions on multiple devices and platforms form a single code-base. A PWA has the ability to continue to function even when the device is not online.

5. Work package 5 – Data Rescue

A Cloud-first approach to data rescue, unlocking data and making it instantly available to agreed partners or as Open Data.
