How to Create and Manage My Profile

After you create a user account, you can manage your profile. The profile page is accessed by clicking the My Profile link in the upper right corner of the geoportal interface after login (see How to Login and Manage my Password).

The profile page shows information associated with your user login. The geoportal references this information to autopopulate information such as contact details for a publisher user when that user creates metadata manually. Providing accurate profile information also ensures that the geoportal administrator can contact you if necessary. To update your profile information, change the text in the fields and click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page.
