File managers

We are gradually adding CK to various file managers in Linux and Windows to let users reference, cross-link and quickly find CK entries from their text documents. For example, we would like to add CK support to emacs, vim, Windows explorer, Midnight commander, etc - help is very appreciated!

We have already provided support for the following file managers:

Far File Manager for Windows

We have added a CK plugin to FAR Manager Editor for Windows. This plugin provides the following short-cuts related to CK:

• Ctrl+0 Selects directory in the text and opens new FAR Manager in this directory
• Ctrl+1 Selects CID in the text, finds entry and opens a new FAR Manager in the directory of this CK entry
• Ctrl+2 Selects CID in the text and opens Firefox with the JSON meta-description of this entry (CK web server should run in the background)
• Ctrl+3 Selects CID in the text and opens Firefox with cknowledge.org/repo CID entry
