Recommended Jenkins baseline versions change over time. Using a recommended version is important because it receives regular updates, avoids implicitly installed plugins, and allows plugins to take advantage of new APIs.
As of jenkins-infra/jenkins.io#7307 on May 15, 2024, the current recommended baseline is 2.440.3.
The previous campaign in this series was #3.
