Management of team working documents via Google Drive and GitHub
-
Google Drive for Julie and Cheryl’s proprietary documents protected by NDA with U of O team (e.g. user stories, business goals and strategies). Julie and Cheryl will be the owners and will invite members after they have signed NDA. Julie will organize and post content in logical folders.
-
GitHub for Miguel to manage the team’s work-in-progress items. On the public domain but obscure. Structure includes meeting notes, demo, validation, deferred. Cheryl and Julie to review and advise if there are documents that should be moved to Google Drive to protect commercial interest.
-
Action Items
-
Julie to send Miguel the domain excel files that were used by Xingyu
-
Everyone to send Julie and Cheryl quick bios that include the research hypothesis they want to validate
-
Everyone to send Julie and Cheryl their known absences during the summer (e.g. Liam away in Norway)
-
Miguel to send Julie and Cheryl cvs files that can be used to create providers and patients for future scenarios
-
-
-
Two main priorities for summer: 1) app development so minimum viable product is ready for clinical validation by end of Aug 2017; 2) validation methodology and tools.
-
App development
-
Part 1 – resolve issues and deficiencies identified to date that are relevant for minimal viable product (Anthony, Miguel, Liam)
-
Part 2 – design and develop reports/dashboards (Pilar's work)
-
Cheryl and Julie to try to obtain quick feedback from practicing caregivers in case there are other improvements that are feasible during the summer. (MDs, physio, nurse, social worker)
-
-
Validation methodology and tools
-
Need to address both Julie/Cheryl’s business goals and U of O team’s research goals
-
Align with industry frameworks (e.g. IHI’s Triple aim, IoM’s six quality domains, St. Michaels eleven quality domains for collaborative care)
-
Combination of subjective measures (how satisfied were people) and objective measures (care is improved)
-
Liam recommended a GRL model that starts with goals and drills down to indicators as to whether goals are met
-
Possible goals include:
- better health outcomes (later stage);
- better communication (teams have relevant info that was previously missing, efficiency and effectiveness of team communication);
- patient empowerment and involvement;
- multiple clinical settings/use cases / process flows and evidence why the solution works/does not work for each
- Monitoring support instead of transaction support and/ therefore, supported by quick forms architecture.
-
-
Future meetings
-
Tuesdays at 3:30 pm throughout the summer. Liam to confirm availability of room 2000-02.
-

-
