- Creating the Google OAuth Keys
- Summary
Creating your own Google OAuth Key's for RClone is quite easy to do. Originally, PTS required you to create your own keys. Later on, it was discovered you did not have to create them and everything would work fine (you were using rclone's keys). In September 2018, RClone announced that Google rated limited their speeds due to overuse of their own keys. What does that mean for you? Failing to create your own keys will result in PTS Drives or PlexDrive operating at 25% of it's speed potential. Just follow the instruction in creating the keys and you will be good to go!
NOTE: These are not the same keys generated or used by PTS Blitz!
Attached is a YouTube that is optional to watch to make the experience much easier for you to understand. If you have the time, please comment; like the video and subscribe to the PlexGuide series today.
