Maslow Store 0.25in 1 Flute Bit

Sold at the Maslow Store, this single flute works well with the current maximum feedrate allowed by the machine. This bit isn't terribly expensive, at $12 each. One will last for a month of cutting on weekends. This bit has been tested to cut in plywood, MDF, HDPE, and aluminum. In testing the feeds and speeds, the following works pretty well without overloading the bit or burning it out:
Plywood/MDF
- RPM: 12000
- Feedrate (in/min): 20 in/min (500mm/min)
- Depth of Cut: 0.250" (6.35mm)
HDPE
- RPM: 15000
- Feedrate (in/min): 24 in/min (600mm/min)
- Depth of Cut: 0.125" (3.175mm)
Aluminum (For better finish, use less depth of cut)
- RPM: 18000
- Feedrate (in/min): 16 in/min (400mm/min)
- Depth of Cut: 0.0625" (1.6mm)
