The UP Xtreme i11 has connectors for GPIO/peripherals:
- HAT connector: pin-compatible with Raspberry Pi Pin position
- 2x Fintech F81801 RS232/422/485
Each of the HAT pins has a dual function, a standard GPIO in/out mode, and a function mode.
On the board start, all the pin are set in function mode by default but that can be changed within the bios menu see 40-pin multi-function I/O header
