should we fallback to non-raw transfer at some point?

We could. But:
I'm hoping to implement (2) as one of the first additions after 1st release. It's quite widely used in custom plugins I've looked at. I assume we don't need to care that much about big-endian, and it's supporting WASM32 that'd be desirable? How important do you think that is? |

…platforms (#13689) JS plugins use raw transfer. Raw transfer does not currently support 32-bit or big-endian platforms. Exit early with a descriptive error message if `--experimental-js-plugins` option is used on an unsupported platform. This avoids a panic with a weird error later on when first try to create a raw transfer-compatible allocator.

Probably not very important. I guess it's just something we should do at some point. |

JS plugins use raw transfer. Raw transfer does not currently support 32-bit or big-endian platforms.
Exit early with a descriptive error message if
--experimental-js-pluginsoption is used on an unsupported platform. This avoids a panic with a weird error later on when first try to create a raw transfer-compatible allocator.
