December 2015 Morning Status Meetings
This page contains a brief summary of the status of the Xolotl development team each morning during the month of December 2015.
Sophie - Trying an exponential attenuation of the advection toward the GB. Updating the trunk with Danqing modification of the petscsolver_branch.
Ozgur - Reinstalling PAPI to solve the problem of PAPIHardwareCounterTester not passing. Working on the desorption branch to connect the displacement handler to the rest of the code.
Sophie - Working on a simple sectional scheme for larger HeV clusters.
Ozgur - Working on adding new options for the desorption branch.
Sophie - Running more tests for Danqing. Helping Ozgur on the error. Trying to understand the segmentation fault in the sectional branch.
Ozgur - Trying to understand the linking error on the desorption branch.
Ozgur - Modifiyng the solver to take the displacement handler into account, and testing it.
Sophie - Running more tests for Danqing, working on the simple sectional method. Thinking about attenuating the diffusion on GB.
Sophie - Running more tests for Danqing. Testing attenuation of diffusion on GB.
Ozgur - Reading about the desorption papers to find all the information to reproduce Tibo's results, and adding a SRIM flux handler to the desorption branch.
Ozgur - Adding SRIM flux handler to the desorption branch and trying it at 100eV for now.
Sophie - Running more tests for Danqing. Working on the sectional branch and figuring out how to remove clusters from the network.
Sophie - Running the sectional branch on different test case. Profiling the petscsolver branch with hpctoolkit to test Danqing changes.
Ozgur - Starting to reproduce Tibo's figures using the desorption branch of Xolotl.
Sophie - Pushing the sectional branch to larger networks with ITER conditions. Profiling the petscsolver branch with hpctoolkit to test Danqing changes.
Sophie - Pushing the sectional branch to larger networks with ITER conditions. Starting to implement GB local attenuation in the irregular grid branch.
Ozgur - Continuing on reproducing Tibo's figures using the desorption branch of Xolotl.
Ozgur - Working on monitor to compare Xolotl desorption results to Tibo's results.
Sophie - Profiling the PETSc branch with the performance infrastructure. Testing the local attenuation on GB.
Ozgur - Trying to figure out the reason of the difference between Xolotl desorption and Tibo's results.
Ozgur - Continuing on reproducing Tibo's figures using the desorption branch of Xolotl. Writing a "computeThermalDesorption1D" function in Monitor1D.cpp to monitor the helium flux at the boundary.
Ozgur - Finishing the reproduction of Tibo's figures using the desorption branch of Xolotl.
