November 2017 Morning Status Meetings
This page contains a brief summary of the status of the Xolotl development team each morning during the month of November 2017.
Sophie - Testing the dynamic solver. Working on the bubble bursting paper.
Sophie - Working on the dynamic solver grouping and running more bursting simulations. Trying to understand why the grouping simulations give different results with code coupling.
Sophie - Installing Xolotl on local machine. Trying different schemes for the dynamic solver.
Sophie - Modifying the grouping so that the biggest cluster is not grouped. Writing about Xolotl for the quaterly milestone.
Sophie - Finishing the PSI abstract. Starting to work on the integration of Pade approximation in the grouping method.
Sophie - Starting to implement the Pade approximation in the grouping method. Continuing to run bursting simulations.
Sophie - Continuing to implement the Pade approximation in the grouping method. Figuring out a way to improve the way to transfer the concentrations at the end of each loop in the dynamic solver.
Sophie - Testing PETSc and Xolotl with quad precision. Fixing the Pade approximation that gives infinite results.
Sophie - Continuing to fix the Pade approximation that gives infinite results. Checking why grouping would cause PETSc divergence.
Sophie - Testing different Pade approximations to see which one works best. Continuing to run bursting simulations.
Sophie - Working on the updating of the grouping scheme in each loop.
