- Rough timeline included.

- May 3rd: Code Freeze
- May 3rd - 14th: Testing, bug fixing, responding to feedback
- May 17th - 28th: Documentation sprint
- May 31st - June 18th: More testing, bug fixing, and responding to feedback

- Release!
- After sprint to cleanup then we'll do a code freeze and then release. Sprint sign up is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1s5GCs9zrJsXevOulyRehpC-wdn4ShOVvEeaHDN_A2eo/edit#gid=171396069
- As part of this we'll be setting up semantic versioning numbers. We'll use code-names for each release for fun.
- Open meeting yesterday went well, a lot of discussion around ISLE.
- perhaps this meeting can have varied times so that other folks can join sometimes
- Issue Roundup
-
https://github.com/Islandora/documentation/issues/1790
- this is somewhat serious. an API endpoint exists that would allow overwriting of files with the same filename.
- would be a real issue if a lot of files have the same file name.
- if it is not resolved before the start of the sprint, it will be resolved as part of that
-
https://github.com/Islandora/documentation/issues/1788
- this has been merged already, could not see openseadragon as anonymous user
-
https://github.com/Islandora/documentation/issues/1790
- PR Roundup
- https://github.com/Islandora/openseadragon/pull/35 - already merged
- https://github.com/Islandora/islandora/pull/829 - already merged
- https://github.com/Islandora/islandora/pull/827 - just waiting a minor fix for D9 support but Mark is busy.
- https://github.com/Islandora/islandora/pull/812 - needs a second review, Seth has volunteered.
- Can we close this one? https://github.com/Islandora/islandora_defaults/pull/44 - yup, was replaced by pull/48
-
https://github.com/Islandora-Devops/islandora-playbook/pull/198 -
- suggested to drop support for Centos in newer versions of the playbook
- tomcat has to be updated to tomcat9 instead of tomcat8
- our ansible playbook doesn't allow you to update an existing site so it's ok if its not backwards compatible
- java gets bumped to version 10. danny had issues with java 11 for karaf. so 10 might be as far as we can go. upping to java 11 might be when we have to give karaf the boot.
- alex will have related PRs for the related/dependent ansible roles
- seth will run
- Roundtable
- Seth - had to purge all the private content while they sort out the permissions issues. going to revisit in the future. leaning towards the embargoes module. workbench access is focused on editing. embargoes is focused on viewing. right now its really a kind of roll-your-own solution. Really no one-size fits-all solution to permissions since everyone has different access control use cases and needs. Suggested that people have more like cook-books/recipes and recommended modules and configurations to accomplish different scenarios. https://github.com/Islandora-Labs/Islandora-Cookbook
- Jordan/Adam - an issue in drush with long-running batch processes (>4 hours)
- Willow - doing round-tripping of data with CSVs all using views and migrate API
